- What
A hotspot of the last year, Dovetail serves basically a cheeky version of food Thomas Keller would prepare--as in immaculate presentation, but of deconstructed American heritage food. This basically means 3 star food made up of things sometimes as mundane as cod or truffles, but often as exciting as duck hearts, lamb's tongue, or whatever else fall into chef John Fraser's lap.
Value for the money here is basically "off the chain," and maybe even weird given the chef's pedigree and restaurant's location... but who's to argue.
All we have to say is we're happy as hell to be able to afford eating food this pretty and delicious.
P.S. Brunch is (also) amazing.
- Why
Lamb's toungue, duck hearts, brunch, sticky date cake
